Dr. Kim Butler
Dr. Kim Butler BSc (Hons), DC, CSCS Doctor of Chiropractic, Certified Medical Acupuncturist, Certified ART Provider
Dr. Kim Butler is the clinic director and co-founder of Fusion Chiropractic & Integrative Health. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto where she earned her Honours Bachelor of Science degree and the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic. In addition she is a fully certified Active Release Provider and has earned her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She has had her work published in the Journal of Chiropractic Education and is an avid reader. Kim was a competitive Figure Skater and learned at an early age how important it was to take care of your body and achieve optimum health. As a Figure skating coach and personal trainer, she has been able to teach others how to be healthy. Today she enjoys leading an active life, particularly cycling, spinning, running, weight training and walking her dog George. She has experience treating patients of all ages and stages of life.

Dr. Kim is the clinic director and co-founder of Fusion Chiropractic & Integrative Health. Jessica’s passion for health and people has in part shaped the identity and philosophy of this modern facility. Having practiced throughout Ontario, Dr. Kim’s patients range from teen athletes to active seniors. Dr. Kim holds an honours degree in science from University of Waterloo. She is also a doctor of Chiropractic, graduating from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where she is currently working towards completing her first year of the three-year Chiropractic Rehabilitation Sciences Fellowship. Dr. Kim is also a medical acupuncturist, certified ART® provider, and certified strength and conditioning specialist. With such skills in high demand, she has been featured in several local papers, and remains an advocate for continuing education.


Dr. Sylvi Martin, ND
Sylvi Martin, BScN, RN, ND
Naturopathic Doctor and Registered Nurse

Sylvi Martin is a Naturopathic Doctor and a Registered Nurse committed to helping individuals improve their health and well-being. She is a graduate of the four-year Naturopathic Medicine Program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Laurentian University, where she graduated with distinction. Sylvi has completed additional training in women’s health studies, as well as the natural treatments for women’s health concerns.

Sylvi practises naturopathic medicine at Fusion Chiropractic & Integrative Health, located on the Danforth in Toronto, bringing her holistic and integrative approach to healthcare to the community. She is registered with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy - Naturopathy and is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors.

Sylvi offers separate nursing services where she offers consultations to regulated healthcare professionals in order to provide education about the potential interactions between medications, nutritional supplements and herbal products. She also provides education about complimentary and alternative treatments. She is a member of the College of Nurses of Ontario and the Ontario Nurses Association.

Angie Casselman, RMT

Angie Casselman has been a Registered massage therapist since October 2006. Angie graduated with honors from Elmcrest College. Through out her career, she has worked with many different types of people, from athletes to the elderly.

Angie is experienced in various techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue, fascial release, relaxation, lymphatic drainage and pre and postnatal massage. She has aided in the treatment of many patients with various problems and injuries including fibromyalgia, arthritis, tendonitis, frozen shoulder, muscle tension, stress, whiplash, carpal tunnel syndrome, scoliosis, plantar fascitis and sports related injuries.

Angie approaches every patient uniquely according to their needs to achieve the best possible results to help attain optimal health and wellness.

Deanna Dear, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist

Deanna Dear is a Registered Massage Therapist with the College Of Massage Therapists Of Ontario. Deanna completed a three-year massage therapy program at Centennial College. Deanna is trained in a variety of techniques including Swedish massage, lymph drainage, pregnancy and infant massage, cranial sacral, facial work aka. NISA, joint mobs, rhythmic mobs, frictions, trigger point therapy and hydrotherapy. Deanna has experience with a variety of individuals, including senior citizens, pregnant woman and infants, individuals at variety village, fibromyalgia patients and individuals working in high stress jobs. Deanna has been trained to treat a variety of conditions, anything from arthritis, sprains, strains, tendonitis, sciatica to tension headaches and TMJ dysfunction. Overall, Deanna enjoys working with a variety of clientele and is very friendly and enthusiastic about her job, and encourages clients to make massage therapy apart of their healthy lifestyle.

Dawn Fernie graduated from The Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 1995.  While Dawn has worked with a wide variety of clients, including 7 years in a MVA/WSIB clinic, her main passion is women’s and children’s health.  Dawn has special training in pregnancy massage, labour support and is a certified infant massage instructor.

Aliya Rawji, PT

From sprains and strains, to post-surgical rehab, to poor posture and low back pain, Aliya has extensive experience working with individuals from all walks of life and with a variety of injuries and conditions.  Aliya uses a combination of manual and soft tissue therapy, therapeutic exercise, postural re-training, and education to bring people back to health.  Her goal is to restore, maintain, and maximize your strength, function, movement and overall well-being.

Pilates is an exercise method which aims to strengthen the postural muscles while achieving optimal function.  Through a series of movements done either on a mat or on equipment, one can work on increasing core strength and stability, improving posture, preventing injury, and balancing strength and flexibility.   Pilates can be done by individuals of all ages and abilities, from pre-natal/post-natal, to seniors, and elite athletes.  Aliya has experience teaching private, semi-private and small group Pilates

Sarah Owen graduated from Kwantlen University in 2001 with a Diploma in Criminology. She has worked in a variety of business settings in Vancouver and Toronto. Sarah is an avid runner and has completed numerous events across the country.  She is passionate about creating a comfortable, organized environment for our clinic patients.
